Jessica is a former Division 1 soccer player and loves CrossFit, running, mountain biking, and good beer. She holds an M.S. in Exercise Science and is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Exercise Science at the University of New Mexico.


ICWA’s co-creator, Nathanael Smith, works with Jessica and the rest of our dedicated team by providing injury rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise and athletic training. He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in athletic training and went on to graduate work in sports psychology, is a certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist.


Fitness is more than just building strength or jogging. Our Jonathan Smith is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer. With a Bachelor’s in Human Nutrition and Food Science, an RDN certification and his passion for healthy living, he’s focused on providing people with the expert advice they need. Having joined Jessica and Nathanael in developing and creating ICWA, he brings his expertise in performance nutrition, weight management and general fitness to help people improve and maintain their health.


A Certified Personal Trainer with a Specialty in Corrective Exercise, Phil uses his significant skills to create freedom and stability and increase performance in both casual and professional-level athletes.


Geneva has been part of the CrossFit community for 5 years, and has loved it from day one. She has a CF-L1 certification. She loves most of what the outdoors has to offer, and wishes New Mexico had more water so she could enjoy the water sports she truly loves. She is currently pursuing her degree in Exercise Science and her NASM certification. She has a thirst for knowledge in order to help become the best coach she can for our members. 


Shandiin Harvey is a fun, passionate, and energetic person who loves outdoor adventures and travel with her 3 kids. She received a bachelors in Exercise Science from UNM and is a CF-L1 Certified Coach, which serves as the foundation of her health and fitness interests. Over the years she has competed in collegiate level athletics, triathlons, team quadrathlons, and local CrossFit competitions.


Pat has been doing CrossFit since 2006 starting in a friend's garage. He has been coaching strength and conditioning, kettlebells, and CrossFit since 2008.

Outside of the gym he spent many years playing competitive ice hockey, as well as coaching his son's baseball team while his son was younger. He is currently pursuing his NASM certification.


Nicosha started Crossfit in 2013 and has been passionate about CF since then. Nicosha loves the CF community and the ability to work toward your fitness goals, both inside and outside the gym. Nicosha Schedlbauer, CF-L1 Trainer


Matthew “Coach Ice” has been CrossFitting for a decade and coaching for 7 years. He has his CF-L1, and has certificates in Powerlifting and Weightlifting. Matthew has also branched out from CrossFit and competed in several USA Strongman competitions.
Outside the gym, Matthew mountain bikes and is a hobbyist woodworker.


Kiersten is CF-L1, PN-L1. Outside of the gym she loves to hike, camp and  play volleyball!


Mark has a CF-L1 and is a certified Personal trainer through (NASM) National Academy of Sports Medicine. His hobbies include exercise, outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends. Mark is a Retired UPS Feeder driver 38 yrs with the company. He has been into weightlifting his entire life and decided to start coaching as a 2nd Career. 


Alethea has her L-1 and has been doing crossfit for over 10 years. Coaching is one of her favorite things and she really enjoys watching people become better versions of themselves and improve their health. She wears many hats besides the coaching one. Alethea is a wife, mom, grandma, teacher & foodie.


Beau was born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA, he moved to New Mexico 16 years ago. He has been in CrossFit for 13 years, he loves working with people to help them achieve their fitness goals. He has been married to his wife for over 20 years. Together they have two beautiful daughters aged 19 and 16.

Fiona got into crossfit when her years as a collegiate athlete ended. She loves to coach people, watch them get better and looks forward to helping more people get there.
